Trees has a small alteration, (superimposition) which abstracts the image to reveal the complexities and an unfamiliar quality.  A deceptively simple piece, Treesplaces the viewer in the position of observer and decipherer.  This is an approach to landscape as both a place of beauty and as a material construct.

Trees was selected as part of Figuring Landscapes, a major touring show screening across the UK and Australia, launched at Tate Modern Feb 2009.
